Our Most Epic Show Yet?

May 4th, 2016

We’ve certainly been keeping busy. Last month, we were in New York for the second edition of The Nerdlesque Festival.

We also just wrapped our amazing video game themed show, Achievement Undressed. There’s a bunch of photos from that show up on our new Instagram account, go check them out.

Looking forward, we have a big and exciting co-production coming up in just a month’s time.

Revenge of the Strip - Banner 2

On June 4, 2016 we are very pleased to present Revenge of The Strip: A Star Wars Burlesque Tribute alongside our friends PeepshowTO & Zilly Lilly. This is our first co-production with these lovely people (though we do often work together) and we’re just as pleased as punch about it.

This show is something we’ve all wanted to do for a few years now, but with the recent release of The Force Awakens, it just felt like the timing was right. (Indeed, the production actually grew out of a discussion between Betty Quirk, Sevvy Skellington, and Loretta Jean when they were in line to see Episode VII on opening night.)

In true co-production fashion, our host Reddy will be joined on stage with PeepshowTO’s host, Velvet Valhalla.

We have also assembled an amazing cast truly worthy of such an epic show. We’ll be posting lots more photos and progress shots leading up to the show on our various social media accounts, so keep your eyes on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts (there are links on the bottom navigation bar below).

For now, here’s a few tasty teasers. Will you run with the Rebels, or join the Dark Side?

Revenge of the Strip - Run With the Rebels
Our awesome poster images were taken by Lick My Lens Cap and designed by Sevvy Skellington. Maria Juana is the perfect Leia Organa-Solo ever!

Zilly Lilly as Kylo Ren in Revenge of the Strip | Nerd Girl Burlesque
Zilly Lilly is going to be both the sassiest and most emo Kylo Ren ever.

May The Fourth Be With You...June the Fourth, Be With Us | Nerd Girl Burlesque

This was an outtake from our poster shoot with Lick My Lens Cap, but Charlie Quinn is such a babely Storm Trooper that we couldn’t resist making it into our May the Fourth greeting to you.

See you on June 4 at the Great Hall.
